Open Question: Gift for 18 yr old boy into music&majoring in zooology?

Ok i have no idea what to receive him and ive known him for 5 years now only dating him for like a few months. He is a drummer and was in a band for a long time. He loves music(like when i say adore i dont mean listens to it and follows up on the artist i mean gets off by it and lives for it and the entire thing rock music stands for haha). He grew up with tom petty and van halen and loves the black keys(naturally sense were from akron) and A7X, Atreyu, lamb of God, crystal castles and every that stuff. He loves reptiles and wants to be the next steve irwin. Hes going to a tech school for 2 yrs its like a vet place school idk... If his parents wouldn;t KILL ME i would receive him a python or something sweet like that and i would rather live.. not a difficult request right? I already have burned him CDs and got him some t shirts and some gauges for his ears books on reptiles and stuff like that and he has given me gauges and shirts and I guess Xmas is when the whole family goes crazy with gifts for people and my family and I we just dont do every that stuff we just travel and chilll and him and his fam is mad enough i wont be on the same side of the country for the holidays. Ideas plzzz?

Open Question: I need help planning a vacation over the holidays from Akron, OH.?

I am planning on taking a trip from either the 26th, or 27th of December to either January 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Does anyone know of any places that are reasonably priced. I would like to keep it below $1,000 for two. Some of my thoughts was to go to Orlando (possibly steer) since gas is cheap and the cost of flights around the holidays are high. I am also considering going to nashville, tn and then driving to asheville, NC to look Biltmore Estates. Another option is an every inclusive 3 or 4 day trip to Cancun. What are your thoughts? Are there any other places you would recommend?

Open Question: What do I need to do to be a photojournalist?

I'm currently going to the University of Akron for Public Relations with a minor in Photography. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a long time, but I've decided that I want to be a photojournalist for something like National Geographic, or maybe a travel magazine. I met up with an academic adviser and he said that I don't need a photojournalism degree to do photojournalism, but I'm nice of wondering if he just said that because the school I'm going to doesn't offer Photojournalism. I know the job I want is probably really difficult to receive but I really want to go for it.. So I'm just not sure what to do at this point school-wise.

I've heard that U of Akron is an open admission school, what does this really mean? Also, after talking to someone who goes there I was told that it is a commuter school but they are making changes to the school and there is a lot of construction to make it more appealing for a full-time student. I graduate in 2010 and am looking at a lot of colleges, and it'd be nice to know a bit more about Akron and the student life, along with changes that are being made to the school.

ok ive been ttc for 6 months after 6 months i gave up and got on birth control for 3 weeks then stoped for a week then took it 3 more times then i COMPLETLY STOPED so after i stoped i was trying to receive pregnant again its been like a month and a half since i stoped i have irregular periods in october i had 3 periods i live in akron and i dont know how much a hysterosalpingogram will cost or if my insurance will pay for it anything but someone told me i should receive my thyroid checked and to c if i have pcos because i dont even know what that is but they say i should receive that checked first befor i receive a hysterosalpingogram so what do you guys think do u think i need one becasue i havnt got pregnant yet i dont know y

My boyfriend is currently stationed in Iraq. He told me he will be able to make morale calls so he can call me once a week. He would like the DSN number closest to me and my cell is an Akron Ohio number. Would anybody know what DSN number is available for Akron Ohio? Thank you very much for your replies! He uses other ways to contact me via satellite phone, email, skype, AIM, you have it. But when he goes to the Army base once a week (because he's a Marine) he wants to call me that way. Hi i am an international but in American high school for every four years. I'm worried i will not receive admission into some Ohio colleges because of my low sat score.
